In the Hotel Minerva you will find a lift, an underground park space, a restaurant, a café, a naturopathy surgery, a physiotherapy department, as well as massage department and a bath department in which we use the original Bad Gögginger sulfur water and natural moor packs.
Room facilities
All apartments and country style rooms are comfortably equipped with a bedroom, living room, small kitchen, bathroom, telephone, sat-TV, radio and balcony or terrace.
All of our country style rooms are designated as non-smoking rooms.
In our breakfast room, we will spoil you with a rich breakfast buffet until 10:30 am.
Our guests often meet each other in the afternoon while enjoying some coffee and delicate cakes.

Countryside and history
Bad Gögging has a beautiful superb landscape. It lies embeddes between the Altmühltal, the river Danube and the gardens with hops of the Hallertau. You will feel the charme of the marvellous nature during a bike ride or a walk on the numerous differently demanding hiking trails and cycle paths. Our guests who are interested in culture will find many historical relics due to the roman history of Bad Gögging. They will enjoy a visit to the „Roman Museum“, where they will find the rest of a roman spa centre. Many information events, exhibitions, lectures and cultural events are provided for tourists.
Bad Gögging is, without doubt, one of the oldest spa and bathing resorts in Germany. Numerous archaeological findings have shown that the culture of the ‘Kelts’ were located in Bad Gögging. The Kelts were known for their mysterious bathing culture, as they considered bathing to be a holy practice. At the beginning of the second century the roman emperor Trojanus gave a spa bathing area with sulfur water to his subjects as a present. This bathing area was one of the largest state owned baths north of the Alps, similar to the thermal baths of Baden – Baden and Wiesbaden. Now the vacation guest as well as the culturally interested guest in Bad Gögging doesn´t find a place with roman traces at first glance , but the names of the sources of water , the street names and the proudness of the names of spa houses and hotels indicate the roman history. It is just the natural resources of Bad Gögging which make the village to a special place within Germany´s bathing areas. Highly concentrated sulfur water, natural moor, and valuable mineral thermal water is the basis of a spa in Bad Gögging.
The Limes Thermal Bath
The Limes thermal Bath comprises an area of more than 1300 square meters. It offers a roman style sauna with the “ Limes Tower” which was built exactly like the original in ancient Rome. There is also a beauty area that offers numerous treatments for your well-being, recovery, relaxation, and most importantly, fun!
In the Limes Thermal Bath you will find 15 indoor and outdoor pools with different temperatures. Enjoy the warm water of 28° C to 36° C for fun and relaxation . They are indeed a valuable source to strengthen your health and your wellness.
